Airalo is looking for a dynamic and motivated Data Analytics Manager to join our expanding team and support our rapid growth as we venture into multiple new global markets, while building our B2B & B2B2C offerings. Stepping into this role, you will have the unique opportunity to be one of the pioneering members of the Data Analytics team at Airalo, shaping our analytical methodologies and driving data-driven insights. The ideal candidate should have a track record of setting up and optimizing analytical processes from the ground up and possess a strong passion for technology, travel, or telecommunications.
As a Data Analytics Manager, you will play a key role in establishing a data-culture where data-driven decisions become second nature in the organization. You will be responsible for the creation, execution, and constant upgradation of our analytics strategy, leading projects and roadmap initiatives that unearth valuable insights. You will lead a team of data analysts and work closely with the data engineers and data scientists. Collaboration will be key, as you will work with various stakeholders and business functions such as Growth, Product, Engineering, finance, and Networks.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Lead and develop a team of data analysts, overseeing all analytics and BI operations
  • Understand business needs and objectives, develop strategies, and set up frameworks for data analysis and reporting
  • Drive the successful and timely delivery of actionable insights, reports and dashboards, owning the majority of deliverables for the data analytics team
  • Build a deep understanding of the existing and future data applications and act as the point of contact for all technical matters related to them
  • Define and build an A/B testing strategy and platform to set up a structured A/B testing plan and run structured tests / randomized control trials
  • Define and build media attribution models (market-mix models) to optimise budget allocations for media channels
  • Define and build pricing models and tools to make strategic pricing decisions and optimise profitability
  • Extract data and reports from multiple platforms, such as GA4, CleverTap, FireBase, Adjust, etc., and consolidate them to provide business stakeholders with a comprehensive perspective
  • Set high standards for the team by delivering high quality insights each time
  • Ensure data privacy policies are adhered to, overseeing BI governance and user access to the right data
  • Ensure that each standard procedure and workflows are properly documented for future reference and the benefit of the team
  • Continuously work towards achieving high performance, operational excellence, greater accuracy, and reliability of the overall system
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in data and analytics and keep your team up to date
Must-haves
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Information Systems, Informatics, Analytics, or another quantitative field
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience in data-rich organizations and at least 5+ years of experience in analytics or data science domain
  • Strong project management skills and team management experience (2+ years) with exceptional abilities to handle a team of 2 - 4 data analysts
  • Advanced usage of analytical tools, strong ability to analyze, interpret and present data using advanced visualisation tools e.g. Quicksight, Tableau, PowerBI, DOMO etc.
  • Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex data problems
  • Advanced Python and SQL knowledge with experience of working with large datasets
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality reports and analysis.
  • Effective communication skills to present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to senior stakeholders, both technical and non-technical
Good To Have
  • Experience in ML and Python
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and database management systems.
  • Experience working with Internet and technology companies
  • Experience working with Telco, MNOs & MNVOs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
