Join Airalo as a Senior Analytics Engineer and be at the forefront of our data initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with various departments to understand and address their data needs, design and implement data models, and provide actionable insights that drive decision-making. Your expertise will ensure the highest quality of analytics code. Your contributions will be crucial in helping us leverage data to its fullest potential, ultimately supporting our strategic goals and enhancing overall business performance.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with multiple departments to understand and address their data needs
- Design and implement efficient ELT pipelines to streamline data processing
- Build and maintain dashboards that support strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate data documentation and definitions
- Advocate for best practices, tools, and methods to ensure high-quality analytics code
- Train business users on effective use of data visualization tools
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, recommending new techniques and tools to keep us ahead of the curve
Must-haves:
- 4+ years of related work experience with a track record of driving business insights
- Exceptional skills in data modeling
- Familiarity with EL solutions such as Fivetran or Stitch
- Expert knowledge of SQL and dbt
- Working knowledge of Python, Git and the command line
- Proficiency with Looker or a similar tool
- Clear and direct communication skills about complex, technical topics
- Natural passion for structure and efficiency, and excellent attention to detail
Good to Have:
- Experience working with GCP stack, especially BigQuery
- Experience working with telco, MNOs & MNVOs
