The 𝘊𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘚𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘔𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘳 serves as the performance marketing expert within the Customer Success organization. This role partners closely with the Head of Customer Success, Customer Success Coordinator/Onboarding Specialist and Business Development Team to guide clients through setup, testing, and optimization phases. You’ll act as a trusted advisor to our marketing clients — analyzing performance, diagnosing issues, and recommending best practices for campaign configuration and predictive data use. This is a client-facing position that blends media strategy, data-driven analysis, and hands-on troubleshooting to ensure customer setup is optimal for delivering measurable lift using Angler AI. You will help our customers translate predictive insights into actionable media strategies that drive measurable outcomes. This is a highly cross-functional role in a fast-paced startup environment, where your insights will directly influence product roadmap, customer outcomes, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
Client Performance & Strategy
- Analyze campaign performance data/event strategy in multiple channels, and identify optimization opportunities using Angler AI’s full toolkit.
- Provide best-practice recommendations on media setup, tracking, and conversion optimization, leaning into client goals proactively.
- Monitor client integration between Angler’s Predictive API and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, Google, TikTok). Adopt performance ownership from Onboarding Specialist once onboarding is complete, and continue in initial months of integration.
- Own a small portfolio of client accounts (3-5) acting as the primary performance advisor and strategic partner while also supporting other customers through campaign optimization and media troubleshooting.
Implementation & Troubleshooting
- Understand initial configuration and QA of data pipelines, pixels, and API connections with support of Onboarding Specialist through the lens of client objectives and strategies.
- Ensure Angler dataset events are configured for the appropriate business context/client goals.
- Flag and troubleshoot performance or delivery issues and collaborate with internal teams (Data, Product, Engineering) for resolution.
- Ensure all tests and campaigns meet data quality and attribution requirements before launch and if needed to meet goals and objectives for the next business period.
- Track progress in critical weeks following Angler scale for new clients.
Enablement & Communication
- Participate in and prepare data-driven analysis for customer calls, readouts, and QBRs to present measurement findings and recommendations. Lead these for your own portfolio with support from the VP of Customer Success.
- Identify patterns and create relevant documentation to be leveraged across multiple clients.
- Leverage performance results and anonymize positive outputs and best practices to be used in marketing materials and across accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Provide clear, actionable communication and documentation to all Angler Employees through Slack, Google Drive and Email (as needed).
- Work with the engineering team to provide structured feedback and influence feature improvements.
- Develop and own day-to-day relationships with client & agency activation teams to drive collective success.
- Support Marketing with customer success stories and case studies showcasing measurable performance lift.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must have mastery of Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, with preferred experience across all major platform ads interfaces (3+ years).
- Client management experience with proven retention track record (2+ years).
- Strong understanding of attribution, pixel/CAPI integrations, and data-driven optimization.
- Must have previous experience QAing signal health and setup within Events Manager (Event Quality Score, Pixel quality, diagnosing and addressing technical issues regarding signal setup).
- Analytical mindset — confident interpreting data, building reports, and communicating performance insights.
- Comfort working in a startup or high-growth environment — adaptable, proactive, and collaborative.
- Mastery of Excel, Google Sheets, Slides, Looker/Tableau/PowerBI
Nice To Have
- Experience with tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, QuickSight, or other ad tech/MarTech stacks.
- Platform-side or agency-side experience
- Experience managing direct reports successfully.

Compensation
Salary range: $80k-$120k
Bonus structure: up to 10% based on performance KPIs
Equity range: 0.1-0.5%
