About the Role
As a Floor Leader at Cider, you are a key driver of the in-store experience. You lead by example on the sales floor, support daily operations, and help build a team culture that puts the customer first. From managing inventory flow to mentoring associates, you play a central role in making your store a place people want to come back to.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Management to drive sales performance, identify opportunities, and keep the team aligned on key targets and goals.
- Create a welcoming, energetic environment that builds genuine connections with customers and fosters long-term brand loyalty.
- Maintain a consistently customer-ready sales floor — well-stocked, visually compelling, and reflective of Cider's latest trends and merchandising standards.
- Oversee daily floor operations including scheduling utilization, shipment processing, product moves, markdowns, and ecom order fulfillment.
- Handle register transactions accurately and efficiently, upholding all policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards.
- Fulfill MOD (Manager on Duty) responsibilities including opening/closing procedures, driving productivity during downtime, and maintaining a service-focused floor environment.
- Engage customers with product knowledge — fabrics, features, fit, and function — to elevate the shopping experience.
- Support visual merchandising execution in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Contribute to inventory control through accurate receiving, transfers, stock counts, and an organized back-of-house.
- Champion an inclusive store culture that reflects Cider's values and keeps associates motivated and engaged.
- Identify and communicate any safety, security, or operational concerns to the Store Manager promptly.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support business and operational goals.
