About Us
Canid is solving one of the most critical and complex challenges in pediatrics: vaccination management.
Every pediatrician is giving 20+ vaccines per day to keep our children and our populations safe from preventable diseases. However, due to fragmented revenue cycles, slow processes, and costly errors 69% of them lose money while doing so.
We are combining AI-powered technology with operational support to redefine how healthcare providers get paid. Our platform streamlines insurance billing, revenue cycle management (RCM), claims processing, and inventory logistics eliminating friction and maximizing reimbursement for pediatric practices.
At Canid, we embed deeply into clinic workflows and operate alongside providers in one of the most financially complex parts of their business. Every dollar we help recover and every claim we clarify has a direct impact on clinic sustainability and patient care.
Backed by top-tier investors, we raised a $10M Series A and have grown to serve hundreds of doctors all over the country. Today, we support tens of thousands of vaccines per month and help attend to hundreds of thousands of children annually. We are scaling quickly, and building the financial discipline to match that growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Head of Finance to support Canid’s next stage of growth with clarity, rigor, and strong judgment.
This is not a traditional back-office finance role. It is a strategic partnership with the CEO, COO, and leadership team. Your insights will directly shape company priorities, capital allocation decisions, pricing strategy, and operational investments.
We want you to help us use financial data to:
- Set direction
- Pressure-test assumptions
- Clarify tradeoffs
- Build structure in a fast-moving, complex environment
You will take ownership of core financial responsibilities currently transitioning from the CEO and help design the systems that support a high-growth, operationally complex healthcare business.
Why Join Us?
At Canid, what we do matters every single day. Our work helps clinics run smoothly, reduces errors, and ensures children receive the vaccinations they need—on time, every time. The impact of your work is tangible and felt by families and healthcare teams alike.
We’re a team that cares about our mission, our clients, and each other. Collaboration, trust, and mutual support guide how we work, make decisions, and grow together. We value diverse perspectives and ideas, and every contribution shapes the work we do and the impact we create.
This is a place for people who are driven by real impact, who love tackling complex problems, and who want to see the difference their work makes every day. We roll up our sleeves, learn fast, celebrate wins together, and never forget why we started: to make healthcare better for kids.
If you want to grow, lead, and be part of something meaningful, Canid is a place where you can do just that—and have fun along the way.
