Saving community healthcare

Canid is an early-stage startup that is on a mission to save independent pediatric practices from being consumed by large provider conglomerates. Community practices are an essential component for accessible, affordable, equitable healthcare. By helping these essential businesses to run more efficiently, we enable independent practices to remain independent and embedded within the communities they serve.

We're beginning with the biggest pain point for every pediatric practice: comprehensive vaccine management. Our product helps physicians lower their overall internal costs, improve their vaccination rates, and simplify their vaccination record management, all with a single easy-to-use product.

We are scope and offerings to bring practices the comprehensive vaccine management they need and we need amazing people to do it!

About the team

Our team brings together experts in SMB & health tech, with a proven track record of building scalable enterprises. We are passionate and deeply invested in building a better healthcare system - one that works for patients and doctors alike. We also deeply care about each other, are proud about the tight-knit culture we built and fully embrace the challenge of maintaining this culture as we add new members to our teams.

Our pre-seed round of funding was joined by Brooklyn Bridge Ventures, FJ Labs, On Deck, along with senior leadership at NYC Health + Hospitals, Columbia University, Telenor Health, Segment, Google, & more.
