Job description

Seeking a network/CCTV technician with experience in installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, and maintaining CCTV and IP-based video systems. The position requires an understanding of networks, wireless communication, and IT infrastructure.

Skills needed:

  • Set up IP cameras for remote viewing and downloading of footage (web and RTSP access).
  • Windows system administration.
  • Network equipment installation and programming (Router, Switch, Hub, Cellular Backup Modem, DSL Modem, Network Management Device, Wireless Access Points).
  • Installation of IP cameras, cabling, and conduit.
  • Assists in developing all drawings, sketches, and specifications required to complete a project design in CCTV camera surveillance.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing systems and/or equipment on-site and remotely.
  • The position requires travel occasionally (Texas, New Mexico, Arizona).
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
  • Computer Skills: 2 years (Preferred)

Would be great:

  • Low Voltage license or similar certifications.
  • Linux administration, certifications
  • Network installation and security certifications
  • Veteran preference
