General Summary:
The Delivery Driver is responsible for operating a commercial delivery vehicle and providing reliable last-mile delivery services between GoFor customers and their end customers. The role involves loading and unloading products, transporting goods to residential and commercial locations, and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and without damage.

Delivery Drivers are the primary point of contact with customers and must represent GoFor with professionalism and strong customer service. The role requires navigating various delivery environments, including stairs or restricted access areas, handling heavy items using proper lifting techniques, and maintaining accurate delivery documentation using handheld devices or mobile applications.

Schedule

• 13-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Up to 6 days of coverage with opportunity over time.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities

• Load and organize deliveries to ensure efficient routing and timely service
• Safely operate and maintain a 5-ton commercial delivery truck in accordance with company policies and applicable regulation
• Deliver products to residential and commercial locations, including stairs or restricted access areas when required
• Lift and carry items up to 150 lbs independently and up to 300 lbs with a partner using safe lifting techniques
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation including status updates, logs, and mileage records
• Ensure all products are handled carefully and delivered in good condition
• Maintain cleanliness of delivery vehicles and report maintenance issues promptly
• Work collaboratively with dispatch, logistics, and customer service teams
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or additional delivery vehicles when required
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable transportation regulations
• Perform other duties and support operational projects as assigned
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience driving 5-ton trucks
• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
• Physically capable of repetitive heavy lifting
• Availability for 13-hour shifts and weekend work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer/mobile app literacy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Professionalism under pressure and problem-solving ability
• Personal qualities: integrity, reliability, commitment, and team spirit
• Must use proper PPE; smartphone access is an asset
