About the role:
We're looking for a driven Sales Development Representative to join our Sales team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing and exciting startup environment, then this is the job for you! You’ll be responsible for leading growth within your sales region by qualifying, managing and generating opportunities. You’ll work closely with the Account Management team and play a pivotal role in growing our business from day 1, and have the opportunity to grow with us as our company expands!
What You'll Do:
Generate new business leads for your region and update our CRM (HubSpot)
Prospect new business leads through telephone and email communication
Understand customer pain points and clearly articulate the value we provide
Establish relationships with key stakeholders
Strategize with the sales teams to meet sales and financial targets
What You'll Need:
0–2 years of experience in outbound sales or customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Written and spoken proficiency in English (French or Spanish a plus)
Positive attitude, perseverance, and drive to meet objectives
Outgoing, adaptable, and inquisitive personality
Strong hustle and self-starter mindset, able to drive results independently and with a team
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for lead tracking and pipeline management.
Familiarity with the landscaping, horticulture, or B2B procurement industry.
Experience attending trade shows or industry events in a sales or business development capacity.
Demonstrated ability to hit or exceed outbound call or email targets in a sales role.
