Built by ex-Meta engineers and production artists, we’re pushing the frontier of empathetic, real-time characters.

We’ve validated the experience on iOS and are ready to bring it to Android. You’ll be the first Android engineer on the team, shaping the app, architecture, and the way we build Android at Animation Inc. You’ll work directly with the founders and ship features quickly.

What you’ll do

• Own the Android app: architecture, implementation, testing, releases, and observability.

• Build a fast, polished UI with tight iteration loops.

• Design networking and async/compute pipelines to keep things smooth in real time.

• Integrate our on-device generative animation tech with real-time voice server API; collaborate with the R&D team.

• Profile and optimise performance, memory, and startup time.

• Set Android guidelines, CI/CD, and best practices.

What will help you thrive

• Strong Kotlin and Android fundamentals with a focus on performance.

• Confidence in UI testing and rapid UI iteration.

• Basic understanding of how LLMs work.
