We are seeking a Manager of KYC Operations to build upon our focus on compliance, while scaling our processes around customer onboarding, remediation and due diligence.

In this role, you’ll contribute towards the broader strategy towards improving the customer experience and ensuring MoonPay achieves a high bar for policy adherence. You’ll manage a team of high performing analysts and collaborate with a team of cross-functional stakeholders including but not limited to operations, compliance, legal and product.

What you will do…

  • Manage, hire and develop MoonPay’s global “Know Your Customer” (KYC) and “Know Your Business” (KYB) Operations team, with a focus on supporting customers across all levels of identity verification

  • Set and achieve operational KPIs and organizational OKRs

  • Develop a deep domain expertise across all KYC/KYB policies and workflows, serving as a critical bridge across stakeholder teams

  • Operationalize compliance policies, with a focus on process development, quality assurance and scalability

  • Identify and implement workflow improvements, leveraging automation and self service solutions across product, technology and operations

  • Partner with identity vendors to optimize performance and output

  • Collaborate with risk management through joint development KYC/KYB procedures and controls

What you will need…

  • Deep expertise in KYC/KYB as a domain expert, preferably as an analyst and leader of operational teams

  • Experience managing / leading teams at scale, combining product, technology and operational solutions

  • Experience working in fintech, web3, crypto

  • Clear, succinct oral and written communication

  • Organized, adept at goal setting / OKRs with an attention to detail

  • Ability to navigate across a complex group of stakeholders at all levels

  • Incredibly data driven + analytical in your decision-making

  • Ability to understand complex systems and distill into clear operational processes
