About the Opportunity ✍️

We are seeking a skilled Systems Operations Engineer to join our dynamic IT Systems Operations & Cyber Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in incident management, Apple device management, endpoint protection, identity and access management, and application lifecycle management.


What you will do…

Apple Device Management and Endpoint Protection:

  • Manage Apple devices (macOS, iOS) using JAMF Pro.

  • Implement and maintain endpoint protection solutions to safeguard devices against security threats.

  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Identity and Access Management (IAM):

  • Configure and manage identity and access management systems using Okta.

  • Ensure secure access controls are in place and manage user identities across various platforms.

  • Implement single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions.

Application Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and retirement of applications.

  • Work with application owners to ensure applications are up-to-date and meet user needs.

  • Document application configurations and support procedures.

Google Administration:

  • Manage Google Workspace, including user accounts, groups, and permissions.

  • Ensure optimal performance and security of Google applications.

  • Provide support and training for Google Workspace users.

Endpoint and Application Support:

  • Provide technical support for endpoints (desktops, laptops, mobile devices) and applications.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

  • Assist users with technical problems and inquiries.

Hardware Deployment, Recovery, and Inventory:

  • Manage the deployment of hardware, including computers, peripherals, and mobile devices.

  • Implement and maintain hardware recovery processes.

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and manage hardware lifecycle.

What you will need…

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in systems operations or a similar role.

  • Proven experience with incident management and problem resolution.

  • Expertise in managing Apple devices using JAMF Pro.

  • Strong knowledge of identity and access management principles and experience with Okta.

  • Familiarity with application lifecycle management processes.

  • Proficient in Google Workspace administration.

  • Excellent troubleshooting and technical support skills.

  • Experience with hardware deployment and inventory management.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
