About the role:
As a Senior Engineer in Manufacturing Design, you will play a key role in shaping and optimizing manufacturing processes for next-generation smartphones under the Nothing–Optiemus joint venture. This role involves close collaboration with global design and engineering teams to translate product concepts into scalable, high-quality, and efficient manufacturing systems that align with India’s “Make in India” and export objectives.
Responsibilities
- Be the Nothing representative factory manager to cooperate with overseas OEM/ODM partners to handle all production related issues
- Mass Production Transfer focus, and Manufacturing Readiness in DFx engagement
- Address manufacturing challenges and propose design improvements with MDE and MTE team
- Develop cost-effective and workable production solutions to accelerate product maturity and improve manufacturability
- Optimize manufacturing yields and efficiency (FPY, Cycle time, UPH) to meet targets through the whole product development lifecycle
- Work strategically to improve SMT/FATP/Packing processes across product categories
Requirements
- Work experience: Minimum 8+ years electronic product manufacturing experience. Smart Phone/Smart Device related products would be a plus.
- Knowledge: Experience of Factory Operation, Product Lifecycle Management, New Product Introduction, Mass Production Management, Supply Chain Management, Technology Innovation and Development
