Founder Associate
Noxus
Administration
Lisbon, Portugal
Noxus is building the process intelligence layer for the age of AI labor.
Enterprise AI is no longer constrained only by models, data, or compute. The harder problem is execution: how AI work actually runs inside an organization, alongside humans, legacy systems, outsourced teams, compliance requirements, and operational constraints.
Noxus helps regulated enterprises redesign and run complex operations with AI workers. These workers do not just answer questions. They read inbound requests, understand documents, gather evidence across systems, apply policies, request approvals when needed, and write outcomes back into core operational tools with full traceability.
We are built for legacy-heavy environments where critical work runs across SAP, Oracle, CRM platforms, policy systems, loan systems, claims platforms, payment platforms, and bespoke internal software. Much of this work still depends on humans moving information between documents, emails, portals, spreadsheets, queues, and systems.
That is where Noxus is most relevant: work that is too complex, regulated, and system-dependent for simple automation, but too costly and slow to leave as manual human execution.
We are not a chatbot company, a self-serve agent builder, or a narrow workflow tool. Noxus is the execution layer that lets enterprises design, deploy, govern, and improve AI labor in production.
We have customers live in production, strong pull from the market, and growth so far has been founder-led. Now we are building the operating system around the company so we can scale faster.
The roleWe are hiring a Founder Associate in Lisbon.
This is a generalist role for someone exceptional early in their career who wants to work directly with a founder and learn how a high-growth AI company is built from the inside.
You will work across the highest-priority projects in the company: partnerships, certifications, deployment operations, marketing, finance, GTM, and special strategic initiatives.
This is not a classic analyst role. It is not an executive assistant role. It is not a narrow operations role.
You will be dropped into ambiguous problems, asked to make sense of them quickly, and expected to turn them into clear plans, assets, processes, and execution.
The ideal person is sharp, ambitious, structured, low-ego, extremely high-agency, and wants to become a founder one day.
What you will doYou will work directly with the founder on strategic and operational projects across the company, including:
- Help design and launch Noxus’ Partnerships Program, including partner tiers, onboarding, enablement, co-selling motions, and operating cadence
- Help build the Noxus Certifications Program for partners, deployment teams, and future ecosystem participants
- Work with the deployment team to create customer kick-off materials, implementation templates, project plans, onboarding assets, and repeatable delivery processes
- Support marketing with research, positioning, campaign planning, job posts, event preparation, content, and operational execution
- Support finance and business operations with reporting, budgeting, planning, board materials, investor materials, and internal operating rhythms
- Run market, customer, competitor, and partner research to support strategic decisions
- Turn messy internal knowledge into clear documents, playbooks, processes, and systems
- Help prepare founder meetings, customer meetings, partner meetings, and internal strategy sessions
- Own ad hoc strategic projects where the company needs speed, structure, and execution
- Build the connective tissue between teams as Noxus scales
Your work will change often. One week you may be helping structure the partner program. The next week you may be creating deployment materials, preparing a GTM analysis, or building a financial model.
What we are looking forWe are looking for someone early in their career with exceptional raw ability.
You might be a recent graduate or have 0–2 years of experience in consulting, startups, finance, operations, product, or another demanding environment.
We are especially interested in people from rigorous academic backgrounds, including universities such as IST, Nova, Católica, or equivalent institutions, but we care more about ability, ambition, and output than credentials alone.
You should be:
- Exceptionally sharp and analytical
- Highly ambitious and hungry to do meaningful work
- Interested in startups, AI, enterprise software, and company building
- Someone who wants to become a founder one day
- Comfortable with ambiguity and fast-changing priorities
- Able to learn new topics quickly and communicate them clearly
- Strong at writing, structuring information, and creating useful documents
- Comfortable with numbers, research, and operational detail
- High-agency: when something is unclear, you figure it out
- Low-ego: willing to do strategic thinking and unglamorous execution
- Reliable, intense, and able to keep pace with a fast-moving founder-led environment
You take a vague problem like “we need a partner certification program” and turn it into:
- A clear strategy
- A benchmark of how other companies do it
- A proposed structure
- A first version of the materials
- A launch plan
- A way to measure whether it is working
You do not wait for perfect instructions. You ask good questions, move quickly, and bring back something concrete.
