It takes more than one hero/heroine to achieve our product's excellence, which is why we are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to join our Titan team.

ServiceTitan is looking for an experienced Senior Engineering Manager who will help us build and lead teams within the engineering organization at ServiceTitan. What you'll do:

• Establish a professional development plan (with milestones) in collaboration with each

• engineer.

• Provide ongoing coaching with 1:1s and other means of communication.

• Assess performance and progress in that development plan.

• Build team mentality by celebrating success as a team and solving problems as a team.

• Build, own and communicate a long-term roadmap for the team. Gather ideas and inputs from many sources and apply them with Agile principles to set the team direction balancing smart short term needs that align to long term vision.

• Take accountability for deliverables by the engineering team throughout discovery and implementation.

• Instill a sense of ownership in your team in the relevant product area as well as empathy for our customers.

• Demonstrate excellence and expect nothing less in return

• Work closely with Recruiting — in particular, interview candidates and co-own activities
  related to lead generation (e.g. tech talks and blog posts) and screening (HackerRank
  tests) - we want to hire the best!

• Communicate effectively with developers, product managers, customers, partners, and
  other leaders.

What You'll Bring:

• Strong communication and technical writing skills

• 7+ years of experience in managing a small to medium software development teams

• 4+ years of experience on senior engineering roles (designing APIs, abstractions, and

• tools used by other engineers)

Ideal Candidates also have experience with many of

• Microsoft .NET technology stack (C# / .NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web APIs) and SQL

• databases (Microsoft SQL Server)

• Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, performance monitoring

• Strong knowledge of some other technology stack (e.g. Python / Unix, Java, mobile

• platforms,...)

• B.S., M.S. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering or a related technical field
