You will be part of the Engineering team at ServiceTitan responsible for the technical development of our product. We provide exciting opportunities to make an immediate impact in our rapidly growing organization. We are looking for a Senior Director to build, lead, and manage all aspects of our core services engineering teams. The core engineering teams are crucial to the success of ServiceTitan and critical to allow us to scale 10x. The Senior Director will be essential for managing competing priorities and delivering a quality product on time to all stakeholders. The Senior Director will also determine, own, and communicate the strategy and vision to the entire Engineering organization.

We need a technically capable, forward-looking, experienced leader who owns the technical vision of and is accountable for the delivery of that vision. We also desire someone who can balance rapid iteration and development with long term strategic thinking and who is innovative, confident, and comfortable with ambiguity.

What you’ll do:

  • Partner with Product, Design and Engineering leaders to create, drive, and deliver an innovative, compelling experience for all ServieTitan Users.

  • Drive and lead the software development efforts by continuing to direct architecture selection, software design, processes and execution.

  • Manage a team of leaders and help develop their careers with stretch responsibilities and excellent feedback. Set the bar on performance, identify and enable key processes, manage priorities, and clarify long-term goals

  • Set and execute a vision for how we build core services at scale in collaboration with business partners

  • Recruit a diverse team of engineers and managers that are amongst the best in the industry, from outreach to closing

  • Contribute to engineering-wide initiatives as a member of Service Titan engineering leadership team

What you’ll bring:

  • At least 5+ years of experience hiring, growing, and developing managers

  • 10+ Experience building scalable, customer facing distributed systems.

  • Lead by example in fast-paced, high-impact, ambiguous environments

  • Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems

  • Thrive in a collaborative cross-functional environment and fostering a great culture within a team

  • Strong knowledge of public cloud technologies (Azure/AWS)

  • Strong communication and technical-writing skills

  • B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $221,000 - $317,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
