ServiceTitan is seeking an exceptional Director FP&A, GTM to join one of the fastest growing tech startups in Southern California, backed by the best VC firms in the SaaS space, and recently ranked #5 on The Cloud 100.

In this leadership role, you’ll be a strategic business partner to our go-to-market (GTM) departments including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Customer Success. You will partner closely with our senior GTM leadership team to execute our strategy, manage the monthly and annual planning and forecasting process, drive cost optimization, and develop analysis to support leaders with their decision making process.

You will report to the Senior Director FP&A, and be a key leader to connect the business, strategy, and finance cohesively together.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is well versed in sales finance and strategy, is a results-oriented leader with ownership mentality, and has a proven track record of managing and developing a high performing team. You have a deep understanding of sales and marketing processes and metrics, and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights. You are comfortable working with cross-functional teams and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Act as the primary business partner to our go-to-market (GTM) leadership team, including Sales, Marketing, Business Development and Customer Success

  • Lead planning and forecasting efforts for GTM functions, including the annual financial plan, and monthly forecasts as well as monthly budget variance analysis

  • Partner closely with the sales operations team to optimize our monthly close and forecast process

  • Advise business leaders on opportunities and risks impacting business performance and monitor performance relative to our strategic operating plans

  • Establish robust frameworks to streamline decision-making and ensure financial objectives such as gross margins and cost efficiencies are realized

  • Deliver analysis and reporting of the business' financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted

  • Analyze key performance indicators, financial trends and develop key insights and recommendations

  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed and present findings to senior management

  • Develop financial models that reflect an aligned approach between Corporate and GTM initiatives, investment priorities and efficiency goals

  • Be a trusted advisor to the Senior Director FP&A and the CFO; proactively collaborate, influence, and align team’s contributions to achieve overall company business strategy.

  • Promote thought leadership in process improvement to scale forecasting and reporting tools, procedures, and methodologies

  • Manage and develop 4+ direct reports

What you'll bring:

  • Minimum of 14+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting or public accounting at a top firm

  • Strong FP&A experience/knowledge ideally from working with go-to-market teams

  • 4-year degree in relevant field with strong academic performance, MBA preferred

  • Strong project management skills and proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across a breadth of team members

  • Must display initiative in anticipating and exceeding the business demands of senior-level business managers.

  • Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics.

  • Experience in leading, managing and developing a world class team

  • Superior proficiency with Excel and complex financial modeling

  • Experience with financial planning, ERP and other business systems such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Workday HCM and Financials, Salesforce

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $150,000 USD - $216,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
