We’re looking for a high-energy Sales Compensation Manager with strong business and financial acumen. This role will ensure that ServiceTitan’s sales compensation programs support the company’s strategic objectives, meet legal requirements, and align with ServiceTitan’s compensation philosophy. This role will work with cross-functional teams including Sales, Sales and People operations, Business Tech, Finance and Legal. As a subject matter expert, this role will act as a strategic advisor, providing counsel on sales compensation programs, policies, and practices. The Sales Compensation team plays a key role in supporting our sales organization to achieve the extraordinary and the ideal candidate will contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels.
We are looking for someone who has been exposed to scaling teams in a fast-paced, remote environment while touching each aspect of the sales compensation. This position requires establishing yourself as a trusted and knowledgeable partner to your business teams, being proactive, curious and solutions minded, and acting as an owner in everything you do. It requires a desire to roll up your sleeves and help make us even better at what we do for our next phase of growth.
What you'll do:
Oversight of the monthly commission close process
Design and support international expansion and business unit programs
Sales compensation plan design and implementation for new sales roles and teams
Assist with compliance initiatives including SOX reporting
Update and maintain sales compensation policies including terms and conditions, ramp policy, Leave of Absence sales compensation, etc.
Systems and tooling configuration for commission crediting and calculations
Manage metrics reporting and commission inquiries
Collaborate and partner across Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, People Ops, and Legal to provide insights and resolve issues
Benchmark competitive practices to ensure sales plans drive results and help attract and retain key sales talent
Gather data from and submitting data to market-based compensation surveys and conducting data analysis and modeling to assess results and market trends
Monitor and analyze all aspects of the sales and incentive compensation programs to gauge the effectiveness of plan designs
Partner with sales and ops leadership to handle plan disputes and be able to handle and action in a timely fashion
Build training and communication materials and conduct sales compensation enablement sessions to ensure participants understand their compensation plan
What you'll need:
BA/BS in a related field / or equivalent experience
8+ years of experience in sales compensation in a professional, fast-paced environment
Strong quantitative, analytical and organizational skills
Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills
Strong communication (written and verbal) and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of incentive systems CaptivateIQ, Anaplan, or Xactly experience preferred
SaaS industry experience preferred

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $102,000 USD - $147,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
