As a Business Development Representative, you will be part of a small, tight knit team that works together to ensure everyone's success. We provide professional sales coaching as you learn valuable skills. This is a great opportunity to break into high tech B2B SaaS sales. The BDR role is designed for advancement into an Account Executive role for those who demonstrate proficiency, energy, and grit.
We are looking for people who have an entrepreneurial mindset, an unnaturally passionate work ethic, and a strong hunger to succeed. The BDR position is a cold call hunting role responsible for generating new business opportunities. Once you have a prospect interested in learning more about the software you will complete a discovery call to qualify the company and schedule a demonstration with our Account Executives to sell our software.
What you’ll do:
Maintaining a high cadence of targeted outreach sales calls/cold calls into our target market
Directly contact 75+ potential customers per day via phone and follow up emails
Qualify leads and schedule online demos for the account executive team
Actively use Salesforce and SalesLoft to manage the lead generation process
Meet and exceed monthly sales quotas
Become a subject matter expert on our industry and technology
What you'll bring:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
1 -2 years of experience in phone-based customer service roles
No reluctance in making outbound calls to prospective company provided leads
‘Hunter’ mentality in seeking out new business and an insatiable desire to succeed
Superior professional presence and business acumen
Articulate and persuasive oral and written communication skills
Must be able to work independently in a fast pace, rapidly changing environment
1-2 years sales experience preferred
1-2 years SaaS experience preferred
1-2 years Field Services industry experience preferred
Where you’ll work:
FieldRoutes and our partner company, Aspire, have an office located in Chesterfield in St. Louis County, MO, and are excited to be opening a new office in North Dallas, TX in Spring of 2024. Employees for this position have a hybrid work model (4 days/week in the office and 1 day/week remote) if hired in the Chesterfield area. DFW area employees will be fully remote until our new office opens when they will move to our hybrid work model (4 days/week in the office and 1 day/week remote).
