The Senior Manager, Automations will be a key leader responsible for leading our organization's digitization and automations strategy. As part of the Architecture & Automations Leadership team within the Business Technology department, the ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive innovation, efficiency, and alignment of technology initiatives with overall organizational goals.This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced technology leader to join a growing company and make a significant impact.

What You'll Do:
Partner with the Business Technology Leadership team to provide strategic leadership in the design and implementation of enterprise-level automation architectures.
Define and communicate the automation vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy to enhance operational efficiency and agility.
Identify opportunities for automation across IT processes and workflows.
Implement and oversee the adoption of automation tools and frameworks , such as AI, machine learning, robotic process automation (RPA), and low-code/no-code platforms
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of automation specialists.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
Define and drive the technology roadmap for architecture and automation initiatives.
Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.
Ensure that technology solutions align with the long-term strategic goals.
Make informed decisions regarding the selection and integration of third-party solutions.
Ensure comprehensive documentation of automation processes, and project plans.
Collaborate with financial stakeholders to develop and manage budgets for automation projects.
Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
Manage a team and operate through a lens of scalability and company evolution informed by company mission and stakeholder needs.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 15+ years of IT experience, minimum of 8 years of experience in IT, with a focus on automation and process improvement. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role overseeing automation projects. A Master’s degree is a plus.
In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar for automation purposes.
Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools.
Proven track record of successfully managing automation projects from conception to implementation.
Demonstrated success in implementing innovative technology solutions to enhance business operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team of automation specialists.
Experience in defining and driving the technology strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
A strong focus on innovation and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Ability to think strategically and align automation solutions with broader business objectives.
Experience in developing and implementing automation roadmaps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automation issues.
Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes and technologies.
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
Ability to make informed decisions regarding the selection and integration of third-party solutions.
Experience in high-growth, SaaS, Pre-IPO companies is desirable.
Excellent relationship-building, communication skills, and negotiation skills. The ability to get things done via influence vs. authority is paramount
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
The ability to model and create an environment of accountability for outcome-based objectives.
Self-starter attitude and track record for managing through ambiguity and seamlessly executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance
Experience with building operations for scale is a major asset

We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $137,000 USD - $196,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
