The Director, Architecture & Automations will be a key leader responsible for leading our organization's architecture and automations strategy. As part of the Business Technology Leadership team, the ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive innovation, efficiency, and alignment of technology initiatives with overall organizational goals.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the Business Technology Leadership team to provide strategic leadership in the design and implementation of enterprise-level Q2C (Quote to Cash) architectures.

  • Define and communicate the architectural vision, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive automation strategy to enhance operational efficiency and agility.

  • Identify opportunities for automation across IT processes and workflows.

  • Implement and oversee the adoption of automation tools and frameworks.

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of architects and automation specialists.

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

  • Define and drive the technology roadmap for architecture and automation initiatives.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the organization.

  • Ensure that technology solutions align with the long-term strategic goals.

  • Make informed decisions regarding the selection and integration of third-party solutions.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT architecture and automation projects.

  • Develop and maintain risk management plans to ensure project success.

  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, automation processes, and project plans.

  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

  • Collaborate with BT leaders and architects to identify Software Rationalization opportunities and develop plans to execute on those opportunities.

  • Manage a team and operate through a lens of scalability and company evolution informed by company mission and stakeholder needs.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 15+ years of IT experience, Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in IT architecture and automation, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role. A Master’s degree is a plus.

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Q2C (Quote to Cash) implementations using Salesforce and other related technologies.

  • In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks.

  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or similar for automation purposes.

  • Familiarity with configuration management and orchestration tools.

  • Proven track record of successful architectural design and implementation of complex IT solutions.

  • Strong background in designing and implementing scalable and robust IT architectures.

  • Experience with cloud architecture and services, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to align technology initiatives with organizational goals.

  • Demonstrated success in implementing innovative technology solutions to enhance business operations.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team of architects and automation specialists.

  • Experience in defining and driving the technology strategy in alignment with organizational goals.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

  • A strong focus on innovation and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement of processes and technologies.

  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to make informed decisions regarding the selection and integration of third-party solutions.

  • Experience in high-growth, SaaS, Pre-IPO companies is desirable.

  • Excellent relationship-building, communication skills, and negotiation skills. The ability to get things done via influence vs. authority is paramount

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $166,000 USD - $238,000 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
