ServiceTitan is looking for an extraordinary Manager of Product Analytics to develop insightful and in-depth reporting and take our understanding of our customers and our product to the next level. As a hands-on manager-doer, you will be responsible for partnering with R&D Operations to report on the stability of our products, the efficiency of our team, and key performance indicators.

What You'll Do:

  • Work directly with business users to gather requirements, develop solutions, and provide insights using business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, specifically contributing to:

    • R&D Performance Tracking: Develop and maintain scorecards showing monthly, QTD, and YTD performance vs. targets for key R&D KPIs across funded programs

    • Delivery & Efficiency Monitoring: Build and enhance dashboards that track on-time delivery rates, release health (major/minor releases, milestone adherence, reasons for delays), and team efficiency metrics

    • Resource Allocation & Headcount Analysis: Create and refine dashboards providing views of R&D team allocation across funded programs and key headcount metrics

    • Quality & Automation Insights: Develop and maintain dashboards for code coverage and automation progress to inform quality improvement initiatives

  • Define metrics with key stakeholders (including R&D Operations, Product, Engineering, and Accounting teams) and monitor the impact of releases and product changes at an in-depth level

  • Build insightful reports and visualizations to surface trends and actionable insights to internal business users, clearly articulating performance drivers and areas for improvement

  • Inform business and teams of user activity on our platform, establish metrics to identify customer pain points, and proactively identify new opportunities to improve our product

  • Build strong relationships within product, engineering, and support functions to understand business needs and ensure reporting aligns with strategic objectives

  • Ensure adequate instrumentation and metrics are in place to respond to fundamental business questions on our product and its usage, working closely with data owners and system experts

  • Partner with data engineering to build out data marts, ensuring data reliability and accessibility for reporting


What You'll bring:

  • Bachelor degree in a business or quantitative field

  • 8+ years of experience as a product analyst

  • At least two years of experience managing a small number of direct reports (1-3 people)

  • Experience building insightful Tableau dashboards

  • Strong SQL expertise and previous experience with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred)

  • Deep analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze significant amounts of information with great attention to detail

  • Understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) for code and documentation management

  • Ability to creatively start new projects and ask questions no one is asking

  • Viewed as both indistinguishable and indispensable from the business teams you partner with

  • Comfortable with tight deadlines in a high-growth environment

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills that allow you to directly communicate with VP+ leaders are required

  • Maintain and execute against multi-quarter roadmaps

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with A/B testing

  • Experience in python (pandas, etc.)

  • Experience in dbt (data engineering)

  • Experience with product analytics tools (e.g., FullStory, Mixpanel, Amplitude)

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in Canada is between $137,400 CAD - $206,000 CAD. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
