Role Description

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer to bridge product, growth, and engineering at Wirestock. This is a highly hands-on role focused on configuring complex workflows, building internal automations, and enabling non-engineering teams to move faster using technical solutions.

You will work with deeply configurable, JSON-driven systems, support growth and marketing initiatives with custom integrations, and write lightweight code and scripts to automate repetitive or complex tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving practical problems with code, understands systems end-to-end, and is comfortable working across multiple tools and domains.

Responsibilities

Workflow Configuration & System Setup

• Configure and maintain complex, JSON-based workflows and rules within internal systems.
• Translate product, operations, or growth requirements into structured configurations and technical setups.
• Debug and optimize existing workflow configurations and data pipelines.

Growth & Marketing Automation Support

• Support the growth team by integrating and automating tools such as Mailchimp and similar platforms.
• Build and customize email templates (HTML/CSS, dynamic variables, conditional logic).
• Implement automation flows and trigger-based campaigns using APIs and webhooks.

Frontend & Tooling Integrations

• Write lightweight JavaScript (including for Framer) to:
• Fetch data from APIs,
• Render dynamic content,
• Connect external services to frontend experiences.
• Adapt and extend no-code / low-code tools with custom logic where needed.

Scripting & Automation

• Write simple Python scripts to automate internal tasks such as:
• Data processing and transformations,
• API integrations,
• Batch operations and one-off tooling.
• Maintain and improve existing scripts with a focus on clarity and reliability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with product, growth, and engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver practical solutions.
• Document setups, workflows, and scripts so they can be reused or maintained by others.
• Act as a technical problem-solver for non-engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Solutions Engineer, Technical Operations, Automation Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong ability to work with JSON-based configurations and highly configurable systems.
• Practical experience with marketing and growth tools (e.g. Mailchimp, customer engagement platforms, CRM or analytics tools).
• Solid JavaScript fundamentals and experience writing small frontend or integration scripts.
• Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Experience in consuming and integrating REST APIs.
• Comfortable working across multiple tools, environments, and problem domains.
• Strong debugging skills and attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience in a startup or fast-moving environment is a plus.
