Role Description
We are looking for a Business Development Director to lead strategic revenue growth with AI labs, enterprise customers, and technology companies building next-generation AI products. This is a senior client-facing role focused on identifying opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, managing complex sales cycles, and closing high-value data partnerships.
You will work closely with leadership, operations, and delivery teams to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored data solutions. You will represent Wirestock in the market, develop long-term partnerships, and help shape our go-to-market strategy as we continue to scale.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow a pipeline of strategic opportunities across AI labs, enterprise customers, and technology companies.
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders including product, research, partnerships, procurement, and business leaders.
- Lead consultative sales conversations to understand customer goals and propose relevant data solutions.
- Manage full sales cycles from outreach and qualification through negotiation, contracting, and close.
- Partner with internal teams to scope custom projects, pricing, timelines, and delivery plans.
- Develop account growth strategies that expand relationships into long-term recurring partnerships.
- Represent the company in meetings, conferences, and industry events.
- Maintain accurate pipeline forecasts, CRM hygiene, and revenue reporting.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and new opportunities to inform product and commercial strategy.
- Collaborate closely with leadership on strategic partnerships and key accounts.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in business development, strategic sales, or enterprise account leadership within the AI industry.
- Required: Proven experience selling data, data services, or data infrastructure solutions to AI companies.
- Strong track record of closing complex, high-value deals with enterprise customers.
- Deep understanding of AI model development workflows, training data needs, and the generative AI ecosystem.
- Experience working with AI labs, frontier model companies, or large technology organizations building AI products.
- Excellent executive-level communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to navigate technical and commercial discussions with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong commercial judgment and comfort with pricing, deal structuring, and contract negotiations.
- Highly organized with strong pipeline management and forecasting discipline.
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.
