Wirestock is building premium, rights-cleared multimodal data for leading AI labs. We're looking for a Senior Technical Producer / Game Director to lead the execution of game-development and game-asset production projects, coordinating creative, technical, and operational teams from kickoff through delivery, and setting the production standards as our game-data business scales.

This is a senior, high-ownership role: you'll be the person who has actually shipped games, run an asset pipeline end-to-end, and knows how to keep a distributed team of artists, vendors, and engineers moving toward a milestone.

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid). Open to candidates willing to relocate.

What you'll do

  • Own end-to-end delivery of game-related production projects, including schedules, milestones, budgets, staffing, risks, and client communication.
  • Translate client requirements into clear production plans, asset briefs, technical specifications, and acceptance criteria.
  • Coordinate game artists, designers, developers, QA, external studios, and contributor teams across multiple workstreams.
  • Manage production of 2D, 3D, environment, character, animation, UI, VFX, and gameplay-related assets.
  • Establish scalable workflows for asset tracking, version control, review, QA, and final delivery.
  • Partner with creative and technical leads to ensure assets meet visual, technical, and metadata requirements.
  • Identify delivery risks early and drive practical solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Improve production processes, tools, templates, and reporting as the game-data business scales.

What we're looking for

  • 7–10+ years in game production, with at least 2 shipped titles in a senior or lead production capacity (Producer, Senior Producer, or Associate Game Director)
  • Demonstrated experience owning or co-owning an asset creation pipeline end-to-end, from concept handoff through engine integration, ideally across character, environment, and prop disciplines
  • Proven track record managing external vendor relationships: art outsourcing studios, contract technical artists, or co-development partners; comfort evaluating vendor bids, onboarding studios to internal style guides, and maintaining quality across distributed teams
  • Experience coordinating cross-discipline production across art, design, and engineering, including tracking technical dependencies, managing milestone deliverables, and running structured reviews
  • Working familiarity with engineering workflows: scripting pipelines, tool development sprints, and the producer's role in scoping and prioritizing internal tooling requests
  • Proficiency with Unreal Engine production workflows, familiarity with content organization, asset naming conventions, and common pipeline pain points in UE projects
  • Experience with project tracking software (Jira, Shotgrid, Hack n Plan, or equivalent) and comfort maintaining master schedules across long development cycles

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to AI training data production, either managing asset creation pipelines that fed ML datasets or coordinating with data teams on structured render output
  • Experience shipping on PC or console via Unreal Engine specifically
  • Background in technical art or a strong working relationship with a technical art team
  • Familiarity with outsourcing in a remote-first or globally distributed production environment

Why Wirestock

You'll help build the production infrastructure behind the next generation of AI models, working at the intersection of game development, creative production, and frontier AI.
