Senior video curator

Wirestock is looking for a passionate and experienced Video Curator to join our team. If you have a strong understanding of video production, post-production, and visual storytelling, and enjoy mentoring others while maintaining high-quality standards, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials and visual guides for reviewers.
• Educate team members on video production fundamentals, including framing, lighting, editing, audio, and VFX quality.
• Review and audit content moderation decisions to ensure consistent quality standards.
• Evaluate high-tier video submissions and provide clear, constructive, and technical feedback to creators.
• Stay up to date with trends in cinematography, animation, social media content, music, and visual effects.
• Refine content acceptance criteria and metadata guidelines to improve review accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and participate in regular meetings.

Skills and requirements

• Strong understanding of video production, cinematography, and different content formats (cinematic, stock footage, social-first content, etc.).
• Experience with post-production workflows, video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
• Knowledge of technical video specifications, including resolutions, frame rates, color spaces, bitrates, and audio fundamentals.
• Understanding of music genres, sound design, pacing, and speech synchronization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and actionable way.
• A strong interest in movies, animation, YouTube, TikTok, commercials, and emerging media trends.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback with a solution-oriented approach.
• Experience mentoring, teaching, or managing junior team members is a strong advantage.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a strong advantage.

Degree in Film Studies, Video Production, Animation, or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
