About the Role

We're looking for a Creative Production Manager to own high-volume visual content production involving photography, illustration, design, video, and 3D.

This is not a traditional marketing, advertising, or brand project management role.

Our projects may involve coordinating large networks of freelance creators and high volumes of visual assets, with strict requirements around production specifications, metadata, quality control, review workflows, and delivery deadlines.

You will be responsible for turning complex client requirements into a structured production operation: defining workflows, coordinating creators and internal teams, tracking asset production, identifying bottlenecks, maintaining quality, and ensuring final delivery.

We're particularly interested in candidates who have managed large-scale creative production, content operations, photo/video production, creator networks, or asset-heavy workflows.

What You'll Own

  • Lead visual content projects from requirements and production planning through final delivery.
  • Build structured production workflows for projects involving large volumes of creative assets.
  • Coordinate photographers, illustrators, designers, videographers, 3D artists, reviewers, freelancers, and internal teams.
  • Translate project requirements into clear briefs, production guidelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Track the production and review of large numbers of visual assets across multiple contributors.
  • Manage asset submissions, metadata, naming conventions, review statuses, revisions, approvals, and final delivery.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and resolve them before they affect deadlines.
  • Monitor creator capacity, project progress, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Allocate project resources including creators, reviewers, budgets, tools, and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate project data and reporting so stakeholders have clear visibility into progress and risks.
  • Ensure delivered content meets project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Communicate clearly with creators and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Improve workflows and processes as projects scale.

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years of project or production management experience in creative production, visual content, media, content operations, or a closely related environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing complex production workflows with a high volume of deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating multiple creators, freelancers, vendors, or production contributors simultaneously.
  • Strong experience tracking deliverables, deadlines, dependencies, reviews, and approvals.
  • Excellent organizational and operational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from initial requirements through delivery.
  • Comfortable working in fast-moving environments where requirements and priorities can change.

Strongly Preferred

Experience in one or more of the following:

  • Illustration or design production
  • 3D or gaming content production
  • Photography production
  • Video production
  • Creative operations
  • Content operations
  • Digital asset management
  • Creator or freelancer networks
  • High-volume content production

This Role Is Probably Not the Right Fit If

Your experience is primarily in:

  • Marketing campaign management
  • Brand management
  • Social media project management
  • General software/IT project management
  • Creative strategy without hands-on production operations

We're looking for someone who enjoys the operational side of creative production: organizing people, assets, workflows, specifications, reviews, data, and deadlines at scale.
