Wirestock is looking for senior front-end developers who think like product owners to hand-build complex, design-led web projects: marketing and landing pages, e-commerce flows, data-heavy interfaces, scroll-driven storytelling and interactive media.
Engagement: Freelance/contract, remote
We’re looking for professionals with high availability who can prioritize our projects and commit to timely delivery. Ideally, candidates should have no conflicting project commitments and be available to complete assigned work within one week of selection.
What will you do?
- Turn a project brief and a finished Figma design into a complete, working website or web app
- Review each brief with a product eye: fill gaps in behaviour, states, breakpoints and accessibility before you build
- Build every page, component and state by hand without AI coding assistant, responsive across mobile, tablet and desktop
- Write clear, testable acceptance criteria for your work
- Document your decisions and how to run the project
What is required?
Experience and skills
- 5+ years of professional front-end development, with a portfolio of shipped websites or web apps
- Expert HTML, CSS and JavaScript without frameworks: layout, responsive design, the DOM, events, ES modules, localStorage
- Comfortable with React when a task calls for it
- Hands-on experience with scroll-driven animation and micro-interactions (IntersectionObserver, requestAnimationFrame, CSS transforms and transitions)
- Experience with the Web Audio API, SVG animation or canvas is a strong plus
- Built data-heavy UI before: filters, sortable tables, comparisons, carts, dashboards
- Accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA: keyboard use, focus states, reduced-motion behaviour
- Pixel-accurate implementation of Figma designs: layout, spacing, type, colour and states
- Strong written English
Product mindset
- You spot missing requirements and edge cases before writing code
- You write precise, testable requirements instead of vague ones
- You raise mismatches between brief and design rather than redesigning
