The ideal candidate has experience in:

• Operating desktop publishing software (such as Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, or Microsoft Publisher) and photo/graphics tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop) to design and produce print and web pages.

• Positioning text, images, and artwork from databases in a visually appealing layout using precise typography, margins, and line spacing.

• Formatting digital documents, converting raster/vector data, and organizing document management workflows.

• Checking preliminary and final proofs, proofreading for accuracy, and correcting visual or textual errors.

• Viewing monitors to review work in progress, incorporating feedback, and making real-time layout modifications.

• Developing publishing templates, guides, specifications, and layout resources to streamline production workflows.

• Communicating design concepts through clear visual, written, and spoken materials with team members and supervisors.

The ideal candidate is someone who:

• Has experience in desktop publishing, graphic layout, prepress, or a related field.

• Has strong artistic, organizational, and technical problem-solving skills.

• Has a strong eye for typography, aesthetics, information hierarchy, and precise detail.

• Can turn structural text and art assets into clear, practical, and visually engaging published resources.

• Is comfortable managing digital assets, presentation decks, and layout software independently under time pressure.

• Is detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of self-managed quality control.
