WIRESTOCK is looking for a Subject Matter Expert in Sports, Hobbies & Outdoors to support the development and evaluation of digital content, educational frameworks, and practical AI applications.

In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to translate athletic mechanics, recreational practices, outdoor survival principles, and specialized crafts/hobbies into clear, structured evaluation criteria, benchmarks, and educational materials. You will review and evaluate domain-specific content to ensure technical accuracy, rule compliance, authentic terminology, and real-world applicability across various digital and multimedia formats.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop structured frameworks, evaluation rubrics, reference guides, and assessment criteria tailored to athletic performance, recreational activities, crafting techniques, and outdoor gear/safety.
• Review, annotate, and evaluate AI-generated and human-authored content for authentic technique, terminology precision, safety standards, and depth.
• Translate complex athletic rules, tactical systems, crafting methods, and wilderness techniques into accessible, high-quality learning resources.
• Provide actionable, constructive feedback to cross-functional teams to refine content quality and pedagogical effectiveness.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, instructional designers, and content production teams to establish domain quality standards.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated professional or academic expertise in Sports Science, Athletics/Coaching, Outdoor Education/Recreation, or recognized domain mastery in specialized hobbies/crafts.
• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into clear, structured, and measurable evaluation criteria.
• Excellent written English communication skills.
• Experience in educational content development, instructional design, coaching curricula, assessment creation, research, or quality evaluation.
• Comfortable working with AI-generated content and digital learning materials.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and follow detailed project guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with AI evaluation or AI model training/annotation projects.
• Experience developing instructional tutorials, skill rubrics, educational assessments, or athletic coaching curricula.
• Familiarity with interactive webpages, sports playbooks, video analysis tools, or multimedia educational resources.
• Experience collaborating with developers, subject matter specialists, or digital content production teams.
